  • Flying Ice Sports Centre was founded by Yang Yang, the International Olympic Committee member and China’s first Winter Olympics gold medalist. Located in Pudong New District along Huangpu River, adjacent to the World Expo site, the Chinese Pavilion and Mercedes-Benz Arena, the main stadium is a rare professional ice sports venue in southern China.
  • This stadium adopts the internationally advanced double-floor structure. The first-floor ice rink covers an area of 1,080 square meters, designed specifically for the public; the second-floor is an international standard skating venue with an area of 1,800 square meters and 5,000 seats. The designers have made full consideration about energy consumption factors when building this stadium, and perfectly solve the common problems like condensation by an ingenious design of flow loop. The skating venue is equipped with ten players’ lounges and more than twenty multi-functional rooms, of which the sizes and specifications meet the highest standards of International Skating Union, International Ice Hockey Federation and other international organizations.
